The Asian Business Awards, now in their 23rd year, are hosted by Eastern Eye, Britain’s biggest selling English language Asian newspaper.

At our last physical event in March 2019, the then Chancellor Philip Hammond graced the occasion as our chief guest with over 850 leading businessmen and women. Previous chief guests have included HRH the Prince of Wales, Theresa May when she was Home Secretary, Tony Blair when he was Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg and Boris Johnson when he was Mayor of London.

The Asian Business Awards are the biggest celebration of Asian enterprise in Britain, where we recognise the very best businesses in a variety of sectors. Previous winners of the coveted Asian Business of the Year Award include the Arora brothers who run the multi-billion B&M Stores business, Bestway Group, Lebara Mobile, Edwardian Group Hotels and Euro Garages. In 2019 brothers Farouq and Haroon Sheikh of CareTech Holdings won our top award.

We will also recognise the fastest growing businesses in the country and have a business leader discussing growth opportunities and business confidence.

Asian businesses today range from the small corner shop to multi-million-pound enterprises, all of which make an enormous contribution to the British economy. We recognise the most dynamic and innovative Asian businesses through these awards.
